11/2/15: Uncle Milton My Sign! Girls Version Review

It is November and the holidays are fast approaching. I am always in search of cool gifts for the kids now that they are getting a little older and don't want many toys anymore. Lauren is 8 years old and loves to be creative. She was very excited when we received Uncle Milton My Sign! Girls Version. What girl wouldn't want to see their name in lights? That is exactly what this sign delivers and allows her to show her creativity.
Here is the sign when it comes out of the box. It includes the frame and background for the sign, lots of letters in multiple colors, and cool flowers, hearts, butterflies and peace signs.
Lauren got right to work. We decided to cut out the letters first and lay they out on the sign background to make sure it was centered.
The letters are all stickers and easy to apply. Lauren chose all capital letters.
Lauren had fun applying the letters on to the sign.
Then in the package are small adhesive dots. These can be a little tricky so I needed to help removing them from the paper and attaching them to the sign where she wanted them.
Once the adhesive dots were attached she just needed to press the cool designs on to them.
After that the base attaches with four plastic pieces. They were easy to connect, and the base took AA batteries. Here is her finished product.
She is so proud of her cool sign. When you press the button on the back it changes colors. The location of the button is a little strange as it is on the back where it would be hanging from but there is still room to press it when it is hanging.
Here you can see some of the different colors.
I like the blue.
Lauren likes this greenish.
Here it is as packaged. What a great gift for any girl in your life. Plus they have a version for boys too!
